Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the house building industry, plus over a decade working in local government, Tony will take the helm to help drive the business forward.
Prior to joining Lovell, Tony was group land director at Robertson Residential Group, having previously held similar roles at a number of property developers.
Now, he is looking forward to taking Lovell to the next phase of its journey and building on its recent growth across Scotland.
Tony said: “It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining Lovell as we look to expand our market reach and grow our brand, particularly in Central Scotland.
“There has been some fantastic work done by Lovell in recent years, such as delivering an award-winning development for Rural Stirling Housing Association in Callander and regenerating a prominent brownfield site into a mixed tenure development in Hamilton.
“But, there’s so much room to grow further in terms of both private and affordable housing.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team to develop our collection of frameworks and partners, while ensuring we are delivering exactly what an ever-evolving market needs.”
He added: “For me, culture is extremely important and I love how much emphasis is placed on people development here.
“Growing talent and ensuring staff are equipped with the skills they need to progress is the backbone of success at Lovell, so I’m looking forward to playing a role in the team’s growth.”
Lovell is currently working with numerous social housing providers including Fife Council, Sanctuary Scotland, Wheatley Group and Melville Housing Association, plus projects with build-to-rent specialist Sigma Capital Group.
Tony’s arrival at Lovell follows recent senior appointments including new land director Chris Collins in September 2023 and construction director Kevin Rooney in January.
David Ward, Lovell Managing Director for the North, said: “We have seen consistent growth across Lovell in recent years, creating communities across Scotland.
“Tony’s wealth of experience across both property and local government has the power to unlock continued development and expansion within our region and help us engage further with both the private and social sectors.”
